@Tonia – I definitely hear you on the price of conferences – they are very expensive for those that aren’t working for a larger company…

Hi Robert….

I really want this scholarship. I do my best in any and everything that I do. I’m a college student in the Bay Area and I’m looking to learn more about how content and the internet are helping non-profits.

I believe I am worthy of this scholarship. The main reason I can’t go to events like these is because they are expensive. I want to become a marketing manager. I think this conference will help me. College is expensive – and this looks like a great event to help me reach my goals.

Did you know you were the first person to #FF me and I still remember that you said it was because I help bring people together and share information. That was almost a year ago, and that has stuck with me and continued to be my philosophy in how I work with Twitter.

That’s why I would love for you to give me the pass. As you’ve seen from Twitter in the past, I’m a big sharer when I go to these things, and I would love to go to #gilbanesf and share what I’ve learned with the various communities I’m involved with.

Plus, this will give me the added incentive of actually getting up to SF and meeting you while you’re in town.
